Infant specialist Magda Gerber shows parents her methods for raising a confident, self-motivated child. Based on her decades of observing and working with children and their parents, Gerber's refreshing, "back-to-basics" approach works from the premise that each child is unique and should be allowed to develop at his or her own pace. I don't personally agree with everything in this book but it is a good resource book to understand your child's behavior.
